Project Kish — Making Legal Language Accessibl

Project Kish is named after The Kish tablet. A limestone tablet from the Sumer region inscribed with pictographic proto-cuneiform signs. Dated 3500 BC, it is one of earliest type of communication systems to work across languages.

This reflects the thought process of the project itself which seeks to create a graphical language for contracts that can overcome language and literacy barriers.

The website seeks to be a research dissemination and collaborative platform where the research done and its findings will be published along with the design prototypes created.

The website will also be where we have people signing on as collaborators to participate in the project.

This is especially important because Project Kish eventually seeks to become an open source movement that can be continuously worked on and improved in creating an effective graphical contract language for ease of use and understanding by all stakeholders.
